#14 Viendo Frutos – Seeing Fruits

Wow ha sido un largo tiempo desde que he escrito. Primero viajé fuera de Aruba a renovar mi visa de aquí y recibir más días y luego el próximo lunes Aruba apago todo y todo estaba cerrado, excepto tiendas para turistas, que era bastante triste y así que aquí estoy de nuevo en un martes escribiendo a todos de vuelta a casa.

Algunas noticias emocionantes, es que tenemos 4 investigadores progresando con una fecha bautismal y estamos súper animados a seguir trabajando con ellos. Tenemos los niños Goncalves que son Arubeños y su mamá esta reactivada y el papá no es miembro (seguimos trabajando en eso) y luego tenemos Argentina que es de la República Dominicana y una referencia de los Elderes de la rama San Nicholaas y ella tiene un gran deseo de ser bautizada y vamos leyendo todas las lecciones y la enseñanza de ella cada semana es simplemente increíble aquí. ¡Que bendición!

Tuvimos una emisión por satélite el Miércoles para todos los misioneros y de cómo nosotros, como discípulos de Cristo podemos ser mejor y mejorar nuestros esfuerzos, me encanta esta cita «Enseñamos cuando encontramos y trabajamos con los miembros» Elder Dallin H. Oaks.

Luego le dijimos adiós a la hermana Kimberly Cuevas el viernes por la noche, a medida que tristemente la dejamos en el aeropuerto, pues fue difícil para todo el distrito, ella fue muy querida por todos los que estuvo en contacto.

Me alegro en decir que de nuevo seguiré trabajando con la hermana Johnston durante 6 semanas!

Hemos hecho un montón de trabajos de jardín este último par de semanas y nos emocionamos del servicio de los miembros y ayuda cuando vemos que después de que nuestros esfuerzos están poco a poco volviendo a la iglesia.

Tenemos un misionero que recibió su llamamiento misional ha sido llamado a servir a Bélgica en habla española y va a ir al CCM de España!!! Hendrick (El hijo de la hermana Noelia). Nos enteramos en la tarde del domingo y estamos muy orgullosos de él.

Un montón de bendiciones y los miembros fuertes son impresionantes y nos ayudan mucho y tengo muchas ganas de seguir ayudando al crecimiento de esta rama.

Wow it’s been a long time since I have written. First I traveled out of Aruba to renew my visa here and receive more days and then the next Monday Aruba shut down and everything was closed except tourist shops which was pretty sad and so here I am again on a Tuesday writing to everyone back home.

Some exciting news is that we have 4 progressing investigators with a baptismal date and we are super pumped to keep working with them. We have the Goncalves kids who are Aruban and there mom is no reactivated and dad isn’t a member (still working on that) and then we have Argentina who is from the DR and a referral from the San Nicholaas Elder and she has a desire to be baptized and we are going over all the lessons and teaching her every week everything is just awesome here. What a blessing!

We had a broadcast Wednesday for all missionaries and how we as disciples of Christ can better improve our efforts I love this quote «Teach when we find and work with the members» Elder Dallin H Oaks.

We then said bye to Sister Kimberly Cuevas on Friday evening as we sadly drooped her off at the airport, which was difficult for the district, as everyone she came in contact with dearly loved her. I’m glad to say to work again with Sister Johnston for 6 weeks!

We have done lots of yard work this past couple of weeks and we get excited to serve the members and it helps when we see that after our efforts they are slowly coming back to church.

We have a missionary who received his mission call to Belgium speaking Spanish and going to the Spain MTC!!! Hendricks (Sister Noelia’s son) is called to serve. We found out Sunday afternoon and we are so proud of him.

Lots of blessings and the strong members are awesome and help us a lot and cant wait to help this branch grow.
